I'm just nervous (especially with this being a wildlife neighborhood) that we are going to start seeing slithery creatures or 4 legged creatures crawling out of there. YIKES! Thanks for any input!
I've really gotta hope the HOA has sent them a letter, since I got one for just a few weeds in my yard last year! Literally, I got the letter, walked into my yard, and pulled exactly THREE weeds from the little strip of grass between the street and the sidewalk.
But I wonder if they sent the letters to the house address - which means the owner hasn't gotten anything. Those plants and stuff sure did get overgrown really quick, too!
I could run the boys up with some weed-whackers - but not sure how it'd look after!

I called today and she said that the woman was out doing drive throughs today. They better do something, we pay a lot of money to our HOA and I don't want eye sores in our neighborhood. It just looks really horrible too. Hopefully the HOA will be out there cutting grass soon!

We have new models now, across from the pool. Just one actually! I haven't been in it, but the old models are just hideous looking now. I'm not happy at all!

Ugh! I'm so sorry about that! I'm a big TR fan (as you know), but that's such a bummer about the models. That one right on Rousseau really was "WILDscaped" tho, so I can imagine that it would get that way if it wasn't reigned in pretty well. I need to check it out the next time I'm over there.

I would describe Medallion as a "custom-tract builder", meaning they have way more floor plans and options than probably any other tract builder and you can really customize the home to your preferences. We bought the largest one story a couple of years ago and probably spent $40,000 in upgrades. We really like living here - very quiet, friendly neighborhood. Many of us wanted it gated, but the elementary school killed that idea.

A lot of people still want this neighborhood gated. I don't care one way or another. I would love for it to be gated, but if it's not...no biggie. I don't think a gated community with an elem. school is out of the question though. What do you think?
