On the Jim Rome Show last week Jim said that he is switching from Premiere Radio Networks to CBS Sports Radio, and that his show may be on a different station in some cities.
He advised people to go to JimRomeStations.com and check the station for their city, so I did.

It doesn't look to me like Jim Rome will be on in San Antonio at all.

Is that what it looks like to y'all?
I have been a Clone since about '97, so this is disappointing to say the least.
Am I going to have to pay up and become a "Jungle Insider"?

This is a little off topic, but it appears that the Ticket 760 will now take over Dan Patrick's am show with Taylor's afternoon show. With no Dan Patrick for my morning commute and no Jim Rome during my lunch hour, I may have to listen to more Pandora, iPod, etc.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to subscribe and listen via my iPod Touch.
Listening to Jim Rome at lunch has been a constant in my life for years now.

Yep. And with Taylor moving to Wisconsin (?!), how long before he loses touch with "the people"?

Can't say I've been a Taylor fan, but I don't wish anyone ill. It will be very hard for him to stay in tune with SA what with broadcasting from his home in GB with a couple of 1 year olds in the house. I have a feeling that the big wigs here agreed to let him continue for a while until he can find something else. No way smart radio people would ever sign off on something like that. If you're doing a national show, fine, do it from anywhere, but you can't do a local show from half the country away.

Has there been an announcement of who will take Taylor's afternoon time?

I figured it would be handed to the guys who are doing the current AM show there, Andy Everett and Walter Pasacrita.

As for the new Rome show, CBS used to own stations in this market, so my guess is that there are lingering hard feelings that prevent Clear Channel and BMP from signing on to a radio show that they offer.

Can you download it free? I thought the Jungle Insider was pay-to-listen.

Im sure you can find Rome on iheartradio, whenever there is a game on 760 during the Rome hours I tune into a Las Vegas station and listen. Taylor is moving to GB.....what? I havent been listening, when is this taking place? Taylor has grown on me, I find him funny as a person on the radio. He has the funniest stories about his crazy childhood. I dont see that GB to SA thing lasting long.

His wife took a job anchoring the news at a Green Bay TV station. He'll probably be in Green Bay for the foreseeable future.
