Sleeted (is the pasted tense sleeted or slet? regular or irregular verb?) here in Stone Oak about 10 minutes. Hubby and I had the sleet vs hail discussion. Since it was coming down dry/hard (making noise when it hit the car), I would call it almost hail. To me, sleet is wet.

Heck, I'd settle for a "delayed reporting time at Lackland"...a whole day is great, but a delayed report time isn't all that bad either! LOL

78002 had sleet too. I could hear it on the tin roof but couldn't see it. I am sure it was there. Can't be too careful.

I spent 30+ winters as a Midwest resident and one memorable winter in the snowiest city in the entire US.

It never gets old seeing San Antonians get so excited over the tiniest quantities of any form of winter precipitation.
