I remember Arturo's. A Mexican AM station played disco from five until sign off at seven hosted by Disco Al;remember him? Arturo's advertised as having the largest lighted floor in SA. 1981,still in HS, me and a friend checked it out one Saturday night. Got there around 11 figured the place would be jumping. There were maybe six patrons in the place. We stayed for about ten minutes and then headed to Graham Central Station on Austin Highway.

Me and my running buddies used to go to Burgundy Woods, Hallelujah Hollywood, The Last National Bank, Grand Central Station and others back in the late 70’s. I remember the manager or owner at Burgundy’s, and he got to know the regulars there, including us. Those were great times.

wasn't there one on the corner of Starcrest and 410? It was a disco, then the Foxy Lady, then a country bar, then a strip club - I think
