First Strong Cold Front - Dress Accordingly Monday.
Quote:
...SIGNIFICANT COLD FRONT ON THE WAY...
THIS AFTERNOON A STRONG COLD FRONT WAS MOVING SOUTHWARD ACROSS THE
TEXAS PANHANDLE. THE COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE TEXAS HILL
COUNTRY AFTER MIDNIGHT AND WILL MOVE RAPIDLY SOUTHWARD REACHING THE
TEXAS COAST BY NOON. A BROKEN LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
ACCOMPANY THE FRONTAL PASSAGE.
STRONG AND GUSTY NORTH WINDS AND FALLING TEMPERATURES WILL OCCUR
IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONTAL PASSAGE. NORTH WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH
ARE EXPECTED WITH GUSTS OF 35 MPH POSSIBLE. A WIND ADVISORY WILL
LIKELY BE REQUIRED ON MONDAY. PERSONS ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
AND THE HILL COUNTRY SHOULD TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING BY SECURING AND STORING LOOSE OBJECTS SUCH AS TRASH
CANS AND LAWN FURNITURE.
FALLING TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO OCCUR ON MONDAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES
MONDAY WILL OCCUR JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT OR DURING THE EARLY MORNING
HOURS PRIOR TO THE FRONTAL PASSAGE. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO
DROP INTO THE 50S LATE MONDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE INTO EARLY
AFTERNOON. PARENTS SHOULD MAKE SURE THAT THEIR CHILDREN WILL BE
PROPERLY DRESSED FOR THE COOL AND WINDY WEATHER ON MONDAY.

Today was still way too warm for my liking, but I can't wait for tomorrow.. I also hope it rains because I DID NOT wash my car this weekend I hope we get some real rain too. Mine was clean from last weekend until that little tiny bit of rain we got last week and of course I was around a bunch of slow moving cars, so all they did was get dirty water on my car..
Still waiting for some real Texas snow..

Snow this far south is a rarity. Like once a decade or longer. And if by chance it does snow it's likely to be a very tiny amount like an inch or so. If you're really looking for a snowy event you've got to go 1000 miles or so to the northeast or northwest.
