We are coming into the area for a few days the end of May, and I was wondering if there were any hotels with really cool features in their pools? We have a 12 year old daughter, so water slides are nice, play areas not so much. Any indoor/outdoor pools? Waterfalls?

Not a must to stay in the area, just thought it would be fun!

Hrm. I'm thinking of all the RW hotels I've seen, and I can't think of a pool that is anything but standard.

Now, the Hyatt Hill Country pool/water park/"river" is fabulous, but that's pretty far from the riverwalk.

With space at a premium on the riverwalk, most pools are of the indoor variety or on the roof. I can't think of any that have slides or waterfalls. You would have to look at more suburban options.

The rooftop pool at the Drury Plaza Riverwalk is pretty amazing. Great views.

Another vote for the Drury Plaza. Marriott Rivercenter has an outdoor/indoor pool.

It's nowhere near downtown, but the JW Marriott has a sweet pool:

Another vote for Drury's Pool, stayed there one time, in the winter, it was heated.
