I have a Dish network dish on my roof, courtesy of the prior owner. I don't want it. Will Dish remove it or should I put it out by the curb?

Dish service differs from cable service in that the subscribers always own their equipment, so the dish is yours to dispose of. If you want to avoid the hassle of removing it, a Craigslist buyer might remove it for you.

Personally, I wouldn't have someone remove it for me, because if they're up there and fall off your roof, guess who's getting sued.

But Bo is right, DISH won't touch it. Just take it off and get rid of it.

Flip it over and make a bird bath.

Unless you have a clue about roof repair, I'd leave it alone. Removing it can cause more problems than you can imagine.
