School bus drivers. It seems like SAISD, NISD and NEISD are always looking to fill bus driver positions at $10-11/hour

They need bus drivers and assistants for the summer because of summer school programs but you need to be applying now. Current drivers and assistants usually take most of all those slots. I believe they are still having summer programs through Learning Tree in NISD. I'd call HR and ask them.
You might want to check with the City if San Antonio to see if they are going to have any temp hires for the library this summer. There are also some summer youth programs through Parks and Rec you could staff.

Thanks. I have been checking out the COSA website for summer stuff. Library work of any sort would be a DREAM summer job for me. At one point, librarian was my planned career until I learned what they earn relative to the schooling required.

Waiting tables; do y'all know of anyone who hires for servers with NO experience serving? I have been searching various job websites and don't ever see any server jobs where experience isn't required. I'm sure they have to start somewhere though.

I would probably rather do that than drive a school bus. Assistant I could do and I have experience working with kids, but I am really scared to death of driving anything that big. I had a hard time driving a friend's large (high profile) van!

Servers usually start as bus boys or hosts/ests then when the mgr thinks they are ready, then they get to try serving.

I believe The Monterey is hiring and looking for the right personality/food & wine love over experience.
