We're putting mirrors on two doors in our bathroom. We had a spare, large mirror sitting around so my husband went to HD and bought a special tool to allow him to cut it. The mirror shattered.
So we just want to "order" two mirrors for this DIY project. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I did find doors at HD already done but they're $350 ea. I'm thinking DYI has to be much cheaper.

Cheapest place in town is Affordable Glass on Fresno just before you get to San Pedro. (210) 738-0999 You'll need the exact size- length and width, the glass thickness, and square edge or bevel. If you want HiDef mirrors, you'll need to specify it but frankly, normal mirrored glass is good enough. They can quote you over the phone. Expect to wait a few days for them to cut it. They've always given me top shelf products and zero complaints from me. Whoever you order this from, make sure to inspect the mirrors BEFORE you leave the place. Once you drive off, any cracks or imperfections are yours. Affordable will also install but I think all of the installation charges are far too high. If you are going to need new spacers, clips, etc, order them with the mirrors.

I used Thad Ziegler's before for cutting mirrors. They did a great job but I don't remember how much they charged.

We use Alamo Glass off of Thousand Oaks. Very cheap and they do the work fast.

Thank you all. Hoping for a result similar to this, except our closets (we have a "his" and her's") are in our bathroom. I think it's going to look fabulous!
