I posted this in an old LEGO store thread, but I thought it needed its own thread as well.

Man I am so broke!

To be honest though, besides the VIP stuff, the mini-model builds, the buckets of bricks, and the build your own mini-figs... what is so special about the store? Yes, I'm being sarcastic. My son and I will be very regular customers.

I am surprised that it is happening at North Star. I would have guessed La Cantera.

Agreed, this is a real coup for North Star.
I would have guessed La Cantera was a shoe-in.

In Rivercenter? I think they wanted to capture the locals, tourist, and the nationals and NorthStar should do that. I wonder how man tourist staying DT actually go out to La Cantera?

I was thinking the tourists with kids that would be going to Six Flags or Sea World - "hey mom, can we stop by the LEGO store on the way back to the hotel?"
