If I could take this dog in without worrying about our own RESCUE dog, sure would...need help FAST please to help keep her from being put down:

Starving, extremely sweet Pit Mix was getting kicked in the face in San Antonio, TX and URGENTLY needs a Foster or Forever home!

This girl was found on the side of the road getting kicked in the face. The abuser said the dog was following him and he didn't want her anymore. He also said that she had puppies, but he sold them all. Despite the abuse she has endured, she is very loving and sat in our friend's lap and gave him endless kisses. She is also said to be good with other dogs. She needs a rescue, foster or forever home NOW!

Can anyone help this abused, sweet baby?

Please contact Nicole at nicolecarmela17@aol.com if you can help!
Thank you!

Poor baby...people....well i would probably get banned if I said what was on my mind.

Contact San Antonio Pets Alive to see if they can help get the word out.

Good news! When I offered to "foster" her to keep her alive, was told that she has a foster home, and they are in search of her "forever" home. That is WONDERFUL since my rescue greyhound would NOT be excited about "long term" company! At least she is safe!!!!

I'd rep ya Paka for your efforts but I have to spread some love elsewhere.

Good ending to a sad story. That someone could be so callous to a pet is abhorrent. This story is repeated too many times in our city. We have 2 "mutts" that we rescued from bad situations. They're part of our family, and I couldn't imagine treating them like waste.

Like my wife often says, "there's a special place in (you know where) reserved for folks like that.

Glad she was rescued! I've been keeping an eye on the SNIPSA website lately, myself. I'm apartment hunting and can't adopt a rescue until I find the right place, but it seems like SNIPSA is doing as excellent job.

We support SNIPSA as well. Dr. Ben and Dr. Sarah are long time business clients. We have fostered for them in the past, and we even adopted one our dogs from them. Dr. Ben is actually our vet, even though he is in Alamo Heights and we live north of San Antonio. SNIPSA has saved thousands of strays.

Their Big Fix is a wonderful service to this city. A few times a year, they target problem areas in SA, and provide Spay/Nueter/Vaccinate/Chip services at no cost for pet owners in those neighborhoods. Just an outstanding program.

ADL does a very good job with their rescue and fostering programs too.
