I just noticed Metric was playing tonight at the Pearl. I've never been to a concert there, but I'm game. Apparently Jack Daniel's is sponsoring the event, but their website, the Pearl's, nor Metric's is very forthcoming on price or ticket information. It's like some insane state secret. Does anyone know the number to call for this event? Anyone else thinking about going?

I'm kind of on a concert tear as of late; I just saw Crystal Castles in Austin; Bush at Fiesta; and Love Hate Affair at Jacks Patio.

And oh yeah, nothing ever happens in San Antonio

It's a special event, and no tickets are available--I know, that sucks.

Ah!
I just found out that the event's tickets are "sold out".

Carry on...

<3 Metric

Their songs have helped me so much. They are so joy!

Love the way their sound has changed throughout the years but is still them.

Would have love to have known and a chance to sign up for those free tickets.

OK, OK, I will just shut up and carry on...

I prefer SAE. Won't be long before "The Lone Star" will be having concerts.

Read in another place that this turned into a free event. The only way to get tickets was to win them, but the promoters ended up letting everyone in whether they had tickets or not.

And I am not ashamed to admit I am right there with the folks above who have no idea who this band is.
