I just wanted to say Thank You to anyone who posted a reply to me with all my questions. You have no idea how helpful all your replies were. My son graduated college and left NJ for SA 1 month later. I am so grateful to anyone who has given an opinion and helped make this move less stressful. It looks like he will be living at the 1010 for the next year. I remember when this first came about, and IIRC Chaka said it too hard to pick a place to live from NJ, have him stay in an extended stay when he first gets to SA. That made all the difference and I thank you! Thank you all for all your good suggestions. It is really appreciated

You're quite welcome. That's what this boar is for and San Antonians excel at helping.

Glad he found a place. Can we expect you to come for a visit any time soon?

So glad it's worked out for you! I know moving twice (or more) can be a pain, but it's often worth it so you have a better sense of where you want to be (or in this case, your son). I hope he enjoys his time here.

And tell him to wander across the river to Friendly Spot for a cool drink, or down the road to Blue Star Complex for food and drink and fun
