Okay, I've never eaten at a Carl's Jr. But today I had a chance to eat a Six Dollar Burger! Yummy! Messy...oh yeah...very messy, loved it! The place wasn't open to the public, but I got a chance to try the food at what they called a "private party"...really tried to keep a straight face about that one. The fries were good, also. Okay, after reading that "lard-butt" and thighs comment, I'll have to start exercising again tomorrow! But really...I just don't have it in me to eat really healthy every day.

The Bandera location is open. The first 500 guests on Wednesday, November 18th received a year of free food. Is this similiar to Chick-Fil-A's first 100 program? I've never heard of a Carl Jr's doing it before. Carl’s Jr. opens Leon Valley restaurant - San Antonio Business Journal:

I must have got in on a pre-grand opening thing...probably was meant to be only for Leon Valley residents. I was at the VA hospital on Tuesday, guy gets on the elevator with a bag of food, tells us the Bandera Rd. location had free food that day. I didn't have the printed "invitation" when I got to Carl's Jr., so a man in the parking lot gave us one to be able to get in. The eat-free-for-a-year would have been nice, but we weren't in town on Wednesday. Hmmm...where's the next CJ grand opening?

Guys! This is not funny...

"For the last several years, San Antonio has been listed among the fattest cities in America by Men's Fitness magazine.
The bad news is that the city has made the list again this year; the worse news is that we remained in the same spot we were in last year, third, apparently having learned nothing from the 2008 ranking. "
'Fattest list' means S.A. has to attack obesity woes
Behave! lol

When you read how stupid the list is and the criteria they use, you'll find, it is.
