Yes, it's a standard burger joint, but please don't put them on the same level as a "what a nasty burger". carl's jr is not the greatest burger place but it's definately on top of all those you mentioned, just try a $6 burger.

Actually, there's been one on the south side of town for a while now off 35 at 410. I heard a nasty rumor that one was going in on 3009 in Schertz, but haven't seen any work on one there.
The one time I had a $6 burger, I was very impressed, and I've always been a fan of Hardees (which Carl's bought a few years back) having grown up the midwest

When I was in LA, I went to a Carl's Jr. and had some sort of Breakfast Cup - it was eggs mixed with sausage and bacon and stuff in a cup! That was a tasty treat right there.

Charbroiled Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich - Charbroiled Chicken Breast, Melted American Cheese, Mild Green Chile, Lettuce and Santa Fe Sauce on a Honey Wheat Bun.
THE BEST SANDWICH EVER!
Western Bacon cheeseburger is awesome too - BBQ sauce and onion rings. I'm looking forward to the Fried Zucchini. Dang it, I'm hungry now!

I could have sworn we had Carl's Jr.'s a few years back. They weren't here long and they left. One I'm thinking of was at Goliad and Military Drive! Could a been something else maybe.

All this excitement just for Carls Jr.??
I shudder to think what would happen if someone started a rumor that In-N-Out would be setting up shop here!
There may be riots! Imagine people beating each other...... over hamburgers!!

Exactly. Carl's Jr. is decidedly ordinary. They may have a few menu variations that tickle your fancy or perhaps the chain brings back fond memories, but Carl's Jr. is nothing to write home about and I think I've eaten everything on their menu over the years. It's merely acceptable fast food.
