Our son has an orthopedic condition, and was followed by them from birth to age 2. (at that point, we made to decision to seek care with a nationally known specialist out of state- NOT because our Dr couldn't help, but because my son's condition is 1:100,000. Most ortho's will never even HEAR of his condition, let alone see/be experienced. And our ortho at PO-SA was
totally supportive.) The physician that we saw is no longer with them either (he is chief of surgery at Shriner's Hospital, Erie, PA.
I believe that Dr Stanley is the most experienced. And, while you are shopping for a pedi, go ahead and call them and explain your situation. Generally, specialists want referrals when the dx is not clear. But in your case, you already have one...
