I am going to be moving into town next month, and my Wife and I are considering looking at houses in the Braun Road/1604 area. What kind of commute times can I expect from that general area down to Lackland AFB? I generaly start work at around 0700, so hopefuly I will miss most of the bad traffic. Google is telling me about 25 minutes. How accurate do you think this estimate is?

Thanks,
Alan

From Braun to Lackland that may be about right. You'll need to add some time at the Lackland Gate and getting out of your community to actually get to Braun though.

Your best bet is to come here beforehand and drive the route at the time you would be taking it to see for sure.

That does sound about right, but I would add some additional time when school is in session. The traffic always gets worse after summer is over. I would add maybe 5-10 minutes to be safe.

Thanks..
Our house in California has not sold yet, so I will have a chance to check out the area while I am in temporary quarters.
