today marks the second time someone has tried to access my account without authorization. they answered the security questions wrong (again).

before you say its my network/computer, please know that when i reset the password/username the first time, i used my cell phone and not the same computer i normally use. the computer that i normally use was formatted and had the OS reinstalled as a precaution, despite AV not showing any bugs or abnormalities. i am also the only person in the house with no visible wireless network.

i am also on a different internet provider than i was a few years back when this happened originally.

SACU has sent me 3 letters detailing why my debit card is being replaced since i opened my account with them. each time, it was precautionary because an internal employee was accessing stuff s/he was not supposed to be accessing.

i have ditched them as my bank as of today and signed up with RBFCU instead.

if you have an SACU account, i suggest changing your password, if not ditching them entirely.

Nobody has been trying to access my account, no letters, etc. I monitor my account for bogus charges, as anyone should at any bank or credit union. I won't be ditching them.

i do as well. if you enjoy having 20+ states blocked from online purchases, more power to you. even more kudos to you if you dont mind waiting til the next business day when they are open to remove that block, if you happen to want to buy something after hours.
