I'm currently in a bowling league here in Louisville and wondering about bowling centers in San Antonio. We will be living in Alamo Ranch - are there any bowling centers (nice) within a 30 minute drive? Anyone here bowl? It's great fun (I took it up about 2 years ago) and a great way to meet new friends.

I think these 2 are the closest to Alamo Ranch. Take wads of cash--bowling seems to have really gotten expensive!

I like University Bowl the best. There were decent lanes at Kelly, but I don't know if they're still in operation or not. Bandera Bowl wasn't so great the last time I was there - cheese all over the floor, inattentive attendants, etc etc. I might have just caught them on a bad night...

I took my husband last week to University Bowl and loved it. They have 99 cent games from 9-12.
