Default HEB 1604/Blanco

The rennovation of HEB at 1604/Blanco to an HEB plus with a Central Market flair is coming along great. I went yesterday and I saw that the new side is open. Its looking good already. I can't wait for it to finish.

Don't forget the new one coming at Wurzbach Parkway and Northwest Military Highway - will be very nice. Next to the new high end KB community - The Woods of Alon.

Parking there has been a nightmare during the construction. Since I access it from the Blanco Road entrance, I've been mostly avoiding that store (and Lowe's) for that reason. But I decided to check it out last Friday.

What I discovered is now that the new side is open, the former produce/meat/bakery area is walled off by plastic curtains that barely contain the smells and racket of construction. I think I'll wait until that work is finished before going back to that store again!
