Yes, DRT is very responsible in keeping alive the history of SA. And that is why SA is one of the most unique cities left in America. So much beautiful architecture has been wiped out in many of our major cities, but SA has managed to preserve quite a bit of its own. It may be frustrating to the progressives that post on the board that insist if SA doesn't have a gleaming tower on every corner then it is nothing more than a backwater community. Take it from me, it is far better to have a plaque in front of something that still exists instead of in front of a gas station or store (both examples in the downtown Indy area) about some structure that used to be there.

I'm more prone to be greatly offended by the myriad of plastic key chain emblems, transfer-patterned coffee mugs, license plate frames, antenna stick-ons, bumper stickers, ashtrays, T-shirts of every size, shape, and color, transfer pattern bakeware, transfer pattern tiles, coasters, plates, cups, planters, ad nauseum, available inside the gift shop.....

than I am to see a stunning historic structure bathed in a beautiful blue light which will not harm it, deface it, or cheapen it.......
