I just realized that I completely forgot to answer flashfearless' question about theft. In general, in the circles & communities I run in, I just leave it in there and no one ever seems to notice. However, I've been spending a lot of time on the East Side this year & whenever I park outdoors there, I unplug the dashcam & hide it in an isolated spot in the car so you can't see it from the outside. No problems so far. Maybe it's just typical Soviet paranoia! ;-)

White Volkswagen Passat rushes into the left lane of 281 South from the Redland Road turnaround, running the red light and disrupting the flow of traffic in the left lane. PURO SAN ANTONIO! I didn't have the presence of mind to rush up to it and get the license plate, was busy thinking about the upcoming day. Oh, well, next time.

Motorcycle was driving VERY fast on 281 north of Encino Rio Road. Ran a red light, one of the super street stoplights. Few seconds later, a Bexar County Sheriff's Chevy Tahoe drove by and took off after it. Think the bike got caught? Haha!

Default I know what you mean,

IT is a good thing that this guy was caught. Those Asian sport bikes are incredibly fast and handle quite well, very maneuverable, and will approach 200 mph for a top speed.
Sometimes these riders become daredevils and sometimes are nuts.

I was traveling up a freeway overpass at a rate of 75 mph in my SUV one time and as I was accelerating up the bridge one of those Sport bikes passed at a very fast rate.
Passing my vehicle was not so terrible a thing, but he was only on one wheel when he passed.

Default Yea?

Perhaps the Komrade Soviet was being sarcastic oh Fearless Flasher, but Soviet sometimes makes posts thinking that he is being persecuted by the local authorities around here.
Soviet is one of my favorite posters for the traffic videos he often posts here and his comments and for his driving.
Oftimes I disagree with the Soviet. This is nothing new can also also offtimes be humorous I believe. I have watched many of Soviet's other videos posted on youtube some of which are often entertaining.

I watched the video but I didn't really see the cop going after the biker. I guess I must have accidentally skipped it.

I have absolutely no idea what that was, it was one of my little sister's favorite XM channels. Some kind of techno? I dunno.

The cop showed up in the waning 10 seconds of the video. Don't see how you skipped it unless you stopped watching early. Ha!
