Go to Leon Valley. I was only there for 30 minutes. Whenever I went to the Pat Booker location it was always a long wait.

Don't go to Boerne - it is a disaster and waits are extremely long. The "mega center" in Leon Valley was supposed to help this situation but I don't know if it has.

I also went to Pat Booker and was there 3 hours. This was after driving by the Babcock location and seeing it out the door.

I went to the Leon Valley location in June and both times I was in and out in 30 minutes. I asked about how dead it was and they said a lot of people still don't know about the location. I'm guessing it's slowly getting worse.

Sorry about the delay in responding, I appreciate y'all being so patient and more importantly, so forthcoming with your opinions! I love City-Data!

We ended up going to the Babcock location and while we didn't get past the welcome center lady we noticed that it was pretty much half full. Didn't seem to be too many people there. However, the desks also seemed to be half staffed.

The welcome lady was extremely helpful, however & helped us understand what we needed. We found what we needed in our documents this morning & we're actually headed on over there now.

So, in short, the Babcock location really isn't that bad. As you can understand, I didn't check out the Leon Valley location, but all evidence points to it being pretty good. I'll report back from this upcoming visit when I can.

Thanks for all the responses, again!

I'm here at the Babcock location right now. There are only 2 people in front of us at the Welcome Center but the actual crowd is much larger than yesterday. Nearly all the seats in the waiting room are filled with people.

I went to the Babcock office recently. I got there a little after noon and the waiting area was about 90% filled but there was no one in front of me at the Welcome desk when I got there. I waited about 40 minutes in the seating area and then it took about another 10 minutes. So I was out in just under an hour. But as I was leaving I noticed there were fewer people. So maybe lunch hour is a busier time? That day it was.

I'm at the Babcock office right now & it's about 40-50% full in the waiting room. We've been here for about 10 minutes. They're serving ticket #25 right now & we're ticket #28.

Doesn't seem too bad at the moment.
