I will be moving to SA in the next few months...My wife and I will be renting for the first year. Can anybody recommend a nice two bedroom apartment in the Stone Oak area? We have no kids, so schools are no concern. Break ins and trash everywhere is a concern (2 bedroom and the budget is about $1200 a month) ....Thanks

Haven't been in those apartments but they are new and location is prefect within Stone Oak. Centrally located so getting to the grocery store, shopping and the great restaurants for the happy hours perfect.

Evans Ranch or Mission Hills, the only time you'll see trash is during the nightly valet trash pick up from your door (no dumpsters around the property) and the price is right within your budget!

Thanks for the replies...Are these apartments near Baptist or University hospitals? I work in the medical field.

Methodist and Baptist Hospitals are both in Stone Oak and both are in the process of expanding. Baptist is adding 4 additional floors to accommodate more neonatal care.

What ever you do stay away from Club at Stone Oak, the worst managed apartment complex in the world.

Staying in an apartment, what are my choices for TV and internet? I have read that Time Warner has a monopoly in San Antonio...is this accurate?

I lived at Evans Ranch and had AT&T for cable/internet. I would definitely recommend the complex by the way, very clean, safe, and has an immaculate pool area
