Makes you proud to be from SA, doesn't it? This is not the first time I've heard of it happening to military movers.

ugh. This isn't the first time I've heard of this either. How absolutely awful.

There is a link to contribute to a fund for them, though nothing will get those precious memories back. Why are people so da*n evil?

I feel bad for the father and his daughter that this happened to them.

It can happen anywhere, not just San Antonio. (Can the mods change the misleading topic?)

Why would you say the plain TRUTH and FACT is misleading?

Actually, I am VERY happy now that a good cold front is on the way!
I posted a story about SAN ANTONIO that was in the NEWS, ok? This was a man and his daughter just passing through with their most precious belongings. I didn't make the story up and I don't care about other cities.
What is it that you cannot handle one factual story that shows people a less than utopia vision about this city?

What exactly is the "truth" and "fact" in the title? All I saw was "How embarrassing, SA!".

Are you suggesting that this kind of thing should never happen in SA? I agree with you. Just pick a better title.

I don't need you to tell me what to title my posts. Are you now the post title police? If you read the FB story comments, the majority of people ARE embarrassed.

I don't need you to tell me that I should be embarrassed either. As another poster pointed out, this can happen anywhere in the US.

Everyone who reads your posts know what you are doing. If you go to KSAT and read the news many things will upset you. Why would a news story make you embarrassed for the city you live? You live in a city that has 2.3 Million people so some of those people are bound to be scum.
