Unfortunately, Smart&Final and Cash&Carry have not made it to Texas.

Sure, I do a lot of my bulk purchases at one of the warehouse clubs in town, but these stores have some items that the member clubs do not carry.

Items such as kosher salt (like they use in restaurants...big red, black and white box), varieties of Torino syrups, bulk packs of stuffing...oh the list goes on and on.

I have searched around online and found one store called Toudouze Market, but their online list does not have the items I am looking for.

There was a warehouse type store in the strip center next to Goodwill at 3401 Fredericksburg Road, but they were for open for business customers only.

Thanks!

Years ago there were some of those types of grocery stores here. They are "gone but not forgotten."

Ahhh...the "gone but not forgotten" list.

Well, at least I know I can discontinue my search...

Well, the Torino syrups you can get at World Market.... there is one at the Rim, and one at the Forum.... they have quite a variety in the large sized bottles, but fewer varieties in the smaller bottles.......

I have found the Torino syrups (or similar) at Marshall's or Ross in their "food" section before. I found a bunch of Sugar Free ones a few years ago.
