I'm looking for a great hairdresser North of 1604. In the Stone Oak/Encino/Bulverde area and preferably less than $40 for a cut and blowdry.

I don't want a Supercuts kind of place but a more professional salon that has affordable prices and doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Thank you so much.

A newbie to San Antonio.

I go to K Charles (Stone Oak). My hair dresser is Elizabeth and I have been going to her since she was a Jr. Stylist and now she is a Master Sylist. If you go there to a Junior I can't recommend someone since I don't know all the people that work there but a Cut and Style is $52. Yes it is over your budget but this is a non-gratuity salon so you don't have to worry about tipping. They use aveda products which I also love.
