New Years Eve at the Trailer Park
The Great American Trailer Park Musical just announced they added a New Year’s Eve performance. It's playing at the Cameo Theatre, 1123 East Commerce in St. Paul Square near Sunset Station. Tickets cost $33 and you can get them online at Cameo Theatre, San Antonio, Texas or by calling 210-212-5454. Then, you can hop on over to Sunset Station for midnight. There's bound to be a party over there.
I've seen it four times, and boy is it a laugh a minute. And there's a bar to boot inside the theatre with great black cherry margaritas.

My wife and I went to that show a few weeks ago. What a BLAST!! One of the best dates we've had in a long time. We went to Ruth's Chris Steak House for dinner across the street from the Theatre. Very expensive, but very good ($110 for the two of us). If you go there before the show, you will have to get to the restaurant an hour and a half before the show in order to make it on time. We missed the first 5 minutes of the show. The show is excellent, and the Theatre is only a few blocks from the Rivercenter Mall. What a great idea for New Years Eve!!

Thanks EVERYONE! We will be going DT for sure. Think we will start at the Landing for Jazz and wine and then head over to V-bar.

I was lucky enough to enter a contest, and I won the NYE package!! Woo hoo!! We get 2 tickets to the show, dinner for 2 at Spaghetti Warehouse, and a night at Staybridge Suites downtown! We never ever go out on NYE but this year we sure are! If I don't have to be on the road with the drunks, it's a good night!
I can't wait now!

I am a native, and even I am not sure where to go this year. I'm not sure I would downtown this year, just based upon past experiences, unless I had a room reserved.
A bit of advice for those who do go DT, about half the party-goer's there will leave shortly after midnight, traffic will be a mess. Make sure you can wait long enough for the traffic to clear.

That show was soooo darn funny I am thinking of dragging my hubby to see it.
Went to Tuna Christmas at the Majestic last night...this one is seriously funny too...especially if you were born and raised in Texas and can almost relate to some of the stuff! (Noticed I said ALMOST!)
