ATT customer service rep says that Uverse carries MeTV on channel 136. I don't see it online, so not sure. Can someone that does have ATT Uverse check and let me know?

ATT is running a deal for Uverse 450 w/ 4 dvr's for approx 180/month - taxes, etc. not included - when bundled with phone and internet. Claim that you can run 10 internet connected devices without noticing a drop in internet speed.

Just wondering if this is a good deal or not. We have had TWC for years.

Thanks!

They do not carry MeTV in the San Antonio market on 136 or any other channel. They may in other markets. That said, I switched to Uverse from TWC 18 months ago and have never looked back. The claims regarding internet speed are a little difficult to express in terms of how many devices you can run with no noticeable drop in speed. It depends on what those 10 devices are doing, the download speed you subscribe to, and what you personally regard as a noticeable drop in speed. I am happy with my internet service and I subscrible to 18 MBps. I am an intermittent heavy user of internet, but that is just me. YMMV.

Neither AT&T, nor DirecTV, nor Dish Network carry the digital sub-channels of local TV stations in San Antonio, or most other markets, for that matter. Time Warner does carry many of them in San Antonio, though.

Although it may be a cumbersome setup for many people who already subscribe to a pay-tv service with set-top box, MeTV can be received free of charge on a TV with a digital tuner and appropriate antenna.

I checked, but the channels jump from 134 to 138, no 136 here.. FWIW, we have UVerse 300, but the channel guide shows all channels, even if they are not subscribed channels.
