I don't have the bandwidth numbers memorized... is that the Elite level? I've had the Elite level of AT&T DSL for about a year and it has been rock solid. I've had to power cycle my modem about 3 times and there were two outages of a 4 hours or less that were AT&T's fault. That's much better reliability than I got when I had Time-Warner CMS.

I recommend it highly.

FWIW, my DSL is a dry loop. I don't have experience with DSL phone service because I wanted to keep the analog phone line for my security system.

here's something to think about... AT&T willing to spy for NSA, MPAA, and RIAA

also, they used to slow down newsgroup speeds to a crazy slow level. I don't know if they still do it, but if they do and you use newsgroups, it definitely sucks.. It's something like 128 Kb/sec

I constantly get 8 mb download speeds with Roadrunner basic, but I also know that's not the case everywhere...

I've never experienced any problems with TWC RR. I've read about others' issues (and there seem to be plenty of them), but my experience has been to the contrary. Maybe it's the area? Far West here.

Does U-Verse include a phone package?

They do. I don't know what the price is for all the services bundled together, though. I have the TV and the elite DSL service, no phone. While I have had to reboot a few times, and the reboots can be slow, I am overall very happy with the DSL service. I used to have RR and there were times during the day that service would become so slow that was almost unusable. The DSL service is consistently fast anytime I use it.

Same here. No problems with RR (but cost is too high IMO at $45/month). Also, having a newer computer with Windows Vista makes it even faster!
