Dang!!! That's amazing!!! I hadn't heard that the salon doesn't allow tipping. Different, but refreshing. 50 bucks and no additional tip is darned inexpensive! Thanx LadyAlli!!

Pure Posh at Blanco and Huebner. Across from The Point. Lisa does my hair and is great.
I have thick hair and have tried several salons since moving here and she is fantastic and I am very particular about my hair/color.

I'm shaved bald. Cheaper that way. No shampoo to buy and never have a bad hair day.

Also, wife prefers it. Wahoooo!!!

My hubby brought this thread to my attention. We are relocating to S.A. in a couple months (just returned yesterday from a house hunting trip) and I've already mentioned to him that one of my top priorities was to find a good hairdresser. I've already been lamenting the loss of my hairdresser here in KY (Louisville). She is awesome and I trust her completely - she's always working on learning new styles and methods and is a fantastic colorist. I've been going to her for many years and her prices are in line with the $50/cut and about $110 for a cut/color/style. A good hairdresser is hard to find! On our recent trip to S.A. I kept my eyes peeled for hair salons and it didn't see that there were many options other the the "cookie-cutter" types that I don't like. I was out of hair product and even had a difficult time finding a place to purchase quality hair products.....I finally ended up at Wal-Mart!!

One last things I plan to do upon departing Louisville for the last time is to go to my hairdresser and get the works done! My plan from there was to ask complete strangers who had cute haircuts where they go.

Keep the responses coming so I can make my list. BTW - looking forward to the relocation....all the folks we met while on our house hunting trip were super friendly. Also looking forward to the warmer climate....we left S.A. and sunny skies w/warm temps to come home to cloudy, freezing, snowy weather. The high tomorrow is only going to be 22!! Yuck!!
