Where I go?
I usually go to Dolce and I have been to the Point on Stone Oak. But it is mostly a club atmosphere. I like eating dinner at Silo but it is hard to meet people during dinner or at a club.
So I guess I'm looking for a lounge where people go after work or dinner.

heh, at the time it was anything but young, hip, and fashionable (it's changed a lot now and it's quite the 'in' place at times - weird), but when I was new to SA and single, I used to hang out at Beethoven's Mannerchor and Biergarten. Despite the median age being about 65, there was quite a fun, young, and very interesting crowd which also hung out there. It didn't take long for me to make some excellent friends with a variety of interests and backgrounds.
And is where I later met my husband. At our wedding we had a full table of the Beethoven Crowd.
It has a little bit of a different vibe now, as it's often crowded full of 'young hip fashionable' people (or at least the type who claim to be). It may not be as easy to meet people there anymore.

Wtf really now?
Try club Rio, Bonham exchange, Saint show bar, Swig and Posh are all right. Cowboys tends to be the younger crowd.

It all kinda depends on what you consider hip...but yeah, it's tough finding a really hip (wel, what I consider hip anyway) joint. Hmmm, let's see, Medusa used to be cool, now it's all hip-hopped out, not my scene, Zinc ain't bad, it's usually dead though whenever I've been, but it has a nice "air" about it. I like Club Cohiba, which is always pretty dead save a few older folks, but I kinda consider it "our bar." I go to The Limelight here and there, mainly to see friends in bands, it's a somewhat artsy-fartsy crowd (a few Southtown staples are usually there), no frat-rats for sure, and I've never had trouble meeting anyone there, you oughta check it out...where else? Let me get back to you on that...
