How did you find out about the Panda Express? No offense to those who like Chinese food (I happen to enjoy WokInn myself), but what do we have to do to get something like a Salt Grass in our area? At this point I'd settle for a Chick-Fil-A. I know us residents don't have any say in it and I know a Chili's is eventually going in up 1604 towards the Baptist church, but variety would be nice, and I am not talking about Whataburger vs. Burger King vs. Sonic. Help!!

Panda Express has already planned to come into Potranco. They will be opening 3 locations within the year. In August they will have the Potranco and 410/Bandera open and later in the year they will have one open near La Cantera. Hopefully they will not affect us too much, but considering their limited menu selection and higher prices we should still edge them out overall.

Santikos will be the leading factor to see what will come, however we have heard that a lot of the bigger chains are commiting to Alamo Ranch Marketplace. So it will be tough to see what happens until everything is said and done. Salt Grass would be a very good restaurant to see here on Potranco, but you will probably see an Outback instead (thats if Potranco gets a steak house).

I'd rather see a mom and pop joint before a Panda Express or Burger King. Gosh :/

Give me something similar to a Bob's smoke house or Happy Guy for the love of god!

Wouldn't a soup and salad bar in this area be a nice change?

The first of the planned Panera franchises for Austin and San Antonio has opened off Bee Caves Rd in Austin..unfortunately at this time, that's the closest.

Also found this online concerning the few signs popping up around the new Walmart for the planned 900,000 sq ft Potranco Market retail center to be built soon.
