Are you thinking about coming back? If so, you might consider keeping it.
You could list the house at the local military housing offices and offer a multi-year lease.

If it were me and I wasn't returning I'd get rid of it.

Default Another Bank coming on Potranco

Well, Chase Bank put their "coming soon" sign up on SW corner of Potranco and Rousseau (across the street from HEB Plus). How many banks will there be in this area? As many as Culebra and Potranco? BTW, I asked Security Service FCU if they were going to build in this area and they said no, but they might look into it.

Also, what's up with Burger King? Their "coming soon" sign has been there a long time.

Hey, that Burger King sign has been up a long time, but not near as long as the "Chester's Hamburgers" sign on 410 between Culebra and Ingram Rd. Give me Chesters anyday!!! I just hope all this fast food going in at the corner of Potranco and 1604 does not become "grackle central" like the corner of Marbach and 410! They seem to be lured by the smell/heat/lighting of fast food areas.

Yeah, we definitely need another bank here.......

Another great use of retail space are those storage places that pop up around developments like these.

There must be a demand for them or else folks wouldn't put them in. I just don't see it though.

That intersection has never really been developed, accept for the Shell station and the old Albertson's store...now a SAWs warehouse with semis parked in front...what an eyesore. And now a storage area when there is one a half mile away on Potranco.

Does anyone have an idea when Hunt Lane will finally be extended across Potranco connecting to its continuation at 151?

Also, I could be wrong but I think there's been a storage "coming soon" sign there for quite a while so maybe it's something that was proposed some time ago but now could be cancelled? I'm not driving that route every day so maybe not...I sure hope it doesn't get built though.

I have seen the "dotted line" connecting Hunt Lane from Potranco to SH 151 access road on San Antonio maps for more than 16 years. I have also seen the cows go home (they no longer roam in that area). So, if the cows have gone home...then why haven't they connected the dots? Of course, what would the home builders do if they couldn't put all their signs at the T-intersection of Hunt Lane and Potranco?

In case no one has updated, ground was broken for the theater just before the ice storms. As a result, its become a muddy mess. But its coming. Also, my wife works for Starbucks and they will be placing a Starbucks at 1604 and Potranco. Possible in the shopping center next to Wells Fargo. She was tod HEB shopping center. Projected date Aug. 2007

Default Kohl's on Potranco

I guess the new Kohl's store being built on Potranco (on same side as HEB Plus) must be behind as they are using spotlights tonight and bringing in what looks like gravel trucks.
