We have pizza about once a week and we've been getting it from them for about the last month. Good pizza and great customer service.
I think pizza for some reason brings out the worst in people here..
I was at the Lackland food court one evening getting some Anthony's Pizza and the fool in front of me was arguing with the manager for about 15 minutes.. the problem in this situation was it was the manager that would not let it go. The situation was the guy wanted a pizza with just ground beef and the store policy was to only serve a set selection which did not include just ground beef. The guy for some strange reason could not understand this logic because that's not how they do it at Randolph. The lady repeated the policy about 10 more times to the guy and the guy kept responding about stupid things like other pizza places don't do it that way. After five minutes I would've just told the guy to go to one of the other 20 places he mentioned instead of that particular Anthony's, but the manager wouldn't do that. The guy finally gave up and placed his order and the manager for some reason brings the subject back off. Telling him that's just how it is and telling him she'll talk to the Randolph people. This of course gets the whole thing going again until he stops again and tries to order, only to have the manager get him going again... This is when my wife walks up wondering what's taking so long and I explain the situation loud enough so the two morons in front of me can hear, but they're too busy arguing. After a few more times of stopping and starting again they finally give up and I get to order. The poor kid that took my order apologized and I said (loud enough for the manager to hear) "It's not your fault your manager is an idiot"..
That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen in my life..

I wonder if that supervisor at Anthony's had anything to do with it?
I was at the Popeyes by the gas station tonight and all I have to say is "Wow".. I don't know how those people remember to breathe in the morning..

I attempted to get food from that Popeyes drive through last week. When I pulled up they asked me to please hold on. I then sat there for about 5 minutes and they never asked me for my order. I tried to get their attention through the intercom but they either turned it off or were ignoring me. So I drove off and went somewhere else. Their customer service has gone way down hill over the last few months.

They have the same name and that location looks pretty old and run down. I'm just curious if anyone saw which one it was for sure.

We went to Double Dave's on Feb. 7, and were very, very disappointed. The kids didn't even like it and they like CiCi's which I don't like. The pizza had almost a sweet taste and the crust was somewhat soggy. I may give it a second chance, but it will be awhile. When it comes to pizza, we like going to Rome's on Bandera Rd, in Helotes. It is wonderful!!!

Sazon Cafe should be opening soon. It is owned by the guys who own the real estate office next door to it. Their niece is my daughters friend, so I will try to find out more. I am looking forward to trying that place out. I'm also looking forward to the Which Wich. I hope that place doesn't disappoint me like alot of these other places. (We did not like Papa Murphy's either)
It was the one on Potranco.

Anyone know of a good hairdresser in this area? I've been getting haircuts in the town we moved from every so often when I visit my parents for over a year! I need someone here!

I drove past Sazon Mexican restaurant today and they had a sign outside that said they open tomorrow at 6:30 AM. If anyone goes, let's hear how it was.

jbv, have you been following the business owner thread ~ specifically about the Potranco Area Businesses Luncheon? Might be a good way to introduce yourself and your service (if you haven't already).
