That is pretty retarded for a place like that to be closed on a Sunday morning. Is that their norm?

I've been to Chicago Bagel on a Sunday before......and.......CLOSED! I think that's a really poor business decision. Does anyone go in often enough to approach the owner/manager about opening on Sundays?

I've never been...it seems the only time I feel like a bagel is on Sundays - haha!

It's like Hobby Lobby closing on Sundays. I don't know about you guys, but I would think one of the better days in the week to work on a hobby would be on a Sunday.

Places like Hobby Lobby and Chik-Fil-A close on Sundays because the owners of those companies are very religious, but bagel places usually don't follow the Sunday church attending crowd.. so that probably isn't the reason they are closed, but it could be.

I actually got my bagel there this morning. The sign did indeed indicate that the place is closed on Sunday!! Arghhhhh!! Open until 6PM during the week??

Premium hours for bagel/deli places are 6AM until about 2PM...no need to be open until 6...they have it all screwed up...wonder if they're making money?

Hopefully the owners will read this and get a feel for how their customers are responding to their business...

I'm sure the Catholics would like a change of pace from donuts after mass on Sunday.

I thought they went to all you can eat buffets?

as far as a bagel place with a deli, I don't mean to stereotype and all I know about them is what I learned from working in one in Michigan. The owner was Jewish and most of the U of M frats and sororities I delivered to were Jewish, so I guess I assumed it was a popular Jewish thing. There were plenty of non-Jewish people that also shopped there. Anybody have any additional info on that?

Do you think the owners of Chicago Bagel/Deli will be there? I suspect that would boost attendance.

A lot of people looking to speak with them.
