I have not used the place, but it has been there since we bought out this way in 1994.

I know of a really good place, but a little further out.

On Grissom, near Bandara in a little strip mall...called "Affordable Pet Care".
5443 Grissom Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238
Phone: (210) 684-2273

We have been very pleased with the care they have provided over the years...hope this helps. Also hope she is feeling better soon.

It is St Francis of Assisi. Their webpage is located at Home. I have used them ever since they opened and I have always been very happy with them. Dr. Bauml is the vet I prefer to see when he is available but the others are all good also. All of the vets bios are on the website.

I hope your dog starts feeling better.

Chris

That place looks really nice and hopefully things work out. I don't think that other one knows what she is talking about because the dog is perefectly fine again now that she's on medication and this time it's an asthma medication and she's actually the best I've ever seen her. She was even barking, which she usually can't do. You haven't seen funny until you've seen a dog bark but not have any sound come out..

I have gone to Dr. Bauml at St. Francis ever since they opened. I had to have one dog put to sleep and he was so nice before, durring and after. I even got a card in the mail and a call after. I now have two more dogs and thats where I take them.

RD could your dog have allergies? Watering eyes, itching the face and breathing problems all sound like allergies to me. Oh and I will be trying Which Wich tonight so I will also give my 2 cents.

Oh, my post on this thread, 1443 describes my experience with that Potranco Vet office. It's the one right next to Sonic.

we went to which wich this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were kind of early so we were the only ones there, but everyone greeted us and the manager came up to us to explain the menu and how the ordering process works. She said they were very excited to have customers. I let her know that their prospective opening had been monitored ;p and I knew they'd have more customers tonight which she seemed very excited about. They weren't doing a grand opening celebration because when they'd done that before it was too many people for the new store to handle successfully so they were hoping by just opening as any other regular day things might be slower, but everything would go smoothly. The food was really good so we'll definitely be going back again. The only thing SO had an issue with was that the sweet tea wasn't good. Not sure how it'll be with the evening dinner rush, but we were happy customers.

We stopped by there today to pick up a menu - the manager was very nice and explained everything. We're going for dinner (early dinner, we're leaving shortly!) and will post our experience here! I'm looking forward to it....I like the way they have everything laid out, nice and easy...
