Well, for those of us that have lived in the area for years. All we really had was Bill Millers, Sonic, and some taco joint inside the shell that I never built up the courage to try.

Now we have options. And we're excited that we don't have to travel accross SA to find places to eat.

I will say that I was disappointed in Pei Wei. Blah :X

[quote=Robin1957;1192843]60 mph on most of Potranco? What part of Potranco would that be? I can only imagine outside 1604. If anyone is doing 60 inside 1604, I'm staying off the road!

Sorry for the generalization, the speed limits outside 1604 on Potranco is 60!
I guess you won't be traveling there anytime soon.

Wow! What did you try? We tried 5 different items between 5 different folks and all "snuck a bite" and everyone like it all...I can't help but wonder what you had that you didn't like. Already have had the (my FAV) Vietnamise Chicken rolls again!

Ya' got me now...will have to turn Right on Potranco coming out of Westcreek and see what is going on up that way...can't even remember the last time I went out that direction. Funny how so much can be going on in your backyard and you don't even know it just because you have not turned that direction, isn't it?

For those of you who don’t want to drive far for a good Mexican food breakfast or lunch, Luz Verde is very good. The bigger part of the sign reads Molino so you may miss it but for those of you who have been there, it’s not much to look at but my wife and I have never had any issues. It’s a hole in the wall style of place but a lot of people who are familiar with the area frequent there. I see Geronimo Volunteers there all the time. If Tamales by the dozen is what you are looking for, the closest place I know of is at the corner of Hunt Ln and Marbach near that Pizza Hut. Yes, yes, it’s another food post.

My wife gets bad Indigestion with their food. We went several times just to make sure it wasn't just bad timing.

Default Papa Murphy's

Sorry about posting about food, but for those of you who might want to try something a bit different then Pizza Hut, Domino's and Litle Caesar's, I will higly recommend the Papa Murphy's that just opened in the HEB Plus strip mall. The pizza was really good (we had the chicken with garlic sauce, family size for $9.99) and there was no waiting. My wife was overwhelmed by the customer service and I can confidently say that, at least while in San Antonio, Pizza Hut has received my last order!!
