I finally went to Pay Way (too much) on Saturday. I thought it was good and generally enjoyed it. But for that price, I'd rather go to Wok Inn. It's just as nice inside, has good quality and is affordable. It even has menus at the entrance and a wooden box over the cash register, just like Pei Wei does. (I wonder who first did that.) Plus, the intersection is easier to manage traffice-wise.

It looks like HEB is getting into the retail space renting business. They put a retail space available sign in front of Kohl's. They own all the property that is being developed in THE PARKE. My guess is most of the spaces will sit vacant until some more hair salons, nail, and pizza places rent them.

Rumor has it that more than 44,000 homes will be built in the potranco, talley, FM471 and 1604 area!!! Potranco road needs to be widened pretty quick.

Both will not happen soon. The new housing market is slowing a little and Potranco will not be widened until 2010 at the earliest.

And I am soooo not looking forward to the issues the expansion will bring in traffic in our area...we JUST got 1604 done after about 150 years of "completion"!

So far the only bad thing I've seen on Potranco outside 1604 is that light for the stupid walmart.. it definitely isn't a smart light and turns red WAY more than it should. The big trucks keep getting stuck at it and they take about 5 years to get up to a number near the 55 MPH speed limit. yeah, like anybody ever even comes close to going 55 on Potranco, more like 35 and even that's rare.. maybe some neon green speed limit signs would help people realize the actual speed limit..

But have you ever tried the Pad Thai at Asia Kitchen on 410 and Marbach? It's outstanding! I'll have to give PW another try and take some of your recommendations. Thanks!

I agree - Asia Kitchen's food is really great! Anyone who lives on the West side should really check it out. Some of the most authentic Thai food I've had in N. America....
