I posted this in the Alamo Ranch thread, but I thought it would get more exposure in this one:

I saw they had a new sign up at AR Marketplace on the corner of Culebra. I could only look quick because I was moving and I needed to get from the final walkthrough to closing, but I did see the tags for (Super)? Target and Best Buy.

Does anybody have a picture?

Hi, new to this post. I was wondering if anyone has heard the rumors that I have been hearing about disney coming to this area? That disney is buying up a lot of land behind 1604 and potranco. I moved here 2 years ago from southern california and think it would be very cool if disney came here.

I thought that the new WalMart is exactly the same as the WalMart at Culebra and 1604 now that they're done with the upgrades at the culebra store.

The new Walmart has the same layout as the one on Military and 410 except the employees are nicer and it looks a lot cleaner.

Atleast at the new walmart they don't have to wear those ugly smocks.. I noticed they are wearing Navy shirts with khakis much nicer in appearance.

Now that the new Walmart is open, I wonder when the price war between HEB and them will begin. I remember when the Loop 410/151 area Walmart opened, there were some INCREDIBLE produce sales between them and the HEB on Marbarch. I agree with you, txgirlinnd30, the new uniforms are much, much better!

Ok, I admit, I have mixed feelings about all the construction going on around here - but I have to admit, I am going to be in Retail Heaven (I hope that outweighs Traffic Hell).

Why do Target and Lowes keep popping up all over these things. That's got to be the 3rd location they said they'd build in this area. And what happen to Costco?
