I'm not sure what "ar side" means (I only peruse these occassionally and don't know all the lingo), but I go to Women Partners and I love them. Very kind, give you their full attention, let you ask any question you want and will give a thoughtful answer. I've been with them and my specific doctor - Dr Olvera - for 10 years. They have 2 locations - one in Stone Oak, one in Schertz.

If you are concerned only about outpatient care, no problems, you can find who you like where you like...but remember if it will include in patient needs to take into consideration where they are credentialed to provide services at. In other words, which hospital you might have to deliver at vs want to deliver and be an in patient at if you are on the OB or surgery requirement GYN side of needs.

I would avoid Dr. Lisa Gurwitz, if she's an option near there. She just made what should have been a joyful time, not so joyful. I had an HMO when I delivered so I was limited and everyone was booked, except her. I know why.

If you liked the doctor who delivered your last baby, ask who she would recommend on your new side of town.

Dr. Rene Perez at Alamo Women's Health is good and his office is across the highway from the hospital.

i lost contact with my first obgyn... with that said, Kellum Obstetrics on westover hills blvd, the physicians deliver at Methodist.
so I am still on the hunt for an obgyn in the Alamo ranch area, and would like to deliver in Santa Rosa. I want my check ups and delivery to be close to home.

I'm pretty sure Dr Perez delivers at Santa Rosa. He did my surgery there.
