I have been here since June 2011 and think that the city is not that dirty, but I do see people throw trash on the ground from their car all the time, while the trash receptacle is only a few feet from them. I will never understand this behavior. Heck, some of these people are driving nice cars too. I don't know if there are laws in the books for this in SA, but cities that I have lived in are allowed to give you a big fine if an officer witnessed the act of littering.

Great Post. I have not heard that word, (despicable) used in many, many years. So long ago.
Since watching The Capn' Gus show as a child here, in San Antonio. While watching Bugs Bunny cartoons
as a kid under ten years old.
Despicable was one of the favorite words of one of the characters in these cartoons, one of Yosemite Sam's favorite words. Unfortunately Yosemite Sam had a speechimpediment, a lisp.
So Yosemite Sam would say in the cartoons--"Dethpicable" instead of despicable. Spit all over too whenever he said "dethpicable". Deeeethpicable, Yosemite would say. With great disgust.
I can still remember this. Hilarious, Tanks for the memories. That was a loong time ago.

I'd just like to point out that OP has yet to post once in this thread.

Seems like a hit and run.

Nice try, insomniac from the 210. Lol he said I said "west side people are despicable" so I was pointing out that he got it wrong.

Perhaps the dialogue exchange scared the OP off.

CD (esp SA) brings out the worst in people. I have to struggle to be nice here, that's really something.

It's all relative. Compared to parts of Philly, Chicago and Detroit, I think even the roughest parts of SA is downright clean. Like a previous poster said, it depends what side of town you're on.

Default Dethpicable,

I guess it was Daffy Duck that said dethpicable. I thought it was Yosemite.
Sapphire and Daffy Duck then it is.
Hilarious posting.
