Burgers look good. Fries look nasty and the one time I ate at the one in Austin, the fries were bad. Seems to go along with most reviews about the place. Good burgers, terrible fries.

That's my take as well. The fries suck.

There's one right across the street and another a couple miles down the road. Have a blast.

Me, I've had Whataburger and don't see what that fuss is about. I prefer Steak n Shake or 5 Guys myself, but I get that people don't see the big deal about those.

People have different tastes, otherwise we would all eat the same thing at the same place.

^^^...yup, down the road on IH 10, I am in Southern Cal, closest location is Phoenix. Ironically, here I have all the IN and OUT's I desire...or rather don't desire.

Those burgers look delicious and more appetizing than Whataburger's burgers. But then again, I think Whataburger's burgers are vomit-inducing. In-N-Out's fries, however, look nasty. I might try the In-N-Out in Austin. I have no reason to drive all the way to NW San Antonio.

Then drive to Austin.

Those burgers are not photogenic and looks nasty.

A real burger would be going to Esquire, Luke, or StoneWorks.

Drove by the In & Out location last night about 8:30 and it seems that things have died down and it's safe to go try out their Bill-of-Fare now.....you'll never know if you don't go.

To each his/her own.

I'd take In-N-Out over Whataburger any ol' day. And while I like In-N-Out's food, thee absolute BEST burgers I've ever had was at Engine No. 9 in Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.
Engine No. 9 Bar and Pub, St Petersburg Florida

I would hope those burgers are better than In-n-Out and Whataburger, given that those are fast food joints charging considerably less than the places you listed. Not really comparing apples to apples here (or greasy fast food burgers to greasy fast food burgers )

But not the StoneWerks location at the Rim, avoid that one.
