Default Eilan Hotel becoming a Marriott Autograph

Heard this from a friend who recently dined at Sustenio, the Stephan Pyles restaurant on the property.
Looking on the Marriott website, not seeing listed in their current Autograph properties, but easily see where it could fit in with the others.

There are some other things happening too including new construction on the site that should start fairly soon. And Piatti is finally getting its finish out completed.

Some of the older comments have got to be trolling. Eilan is no where near the "boondocks". Some SA posters are quick to whine and make baseless claims about something they deem is expensive or not affordable.

Come downtown where I live and where properties and are selling for over $300 a square foot and then talk to me about "trolling" and "expensive."

You have to drive to get anywhere in that area of town, so IMO it is the "boondocks."

Um, ok. Whatever you say. Further northwest, Boerne, might be considered boondocks. Considering Eilan is within city limits, I don't see it as boondocks. 1604/i-10 is maybe 15 minutes from downtown without traffic.

Anything outside 1604 is "boondocks" to me.

City-limit or no, it's way the heck out there.
