I see I am not alone!
I had put this in 'decorating' cuz I thought if someone was getting ready to buy things for a new house it would stop them!! Fine to move it..
SAWS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!
I checked with SAWS and they said no way to adjust.....so I just hold the button down! That probably uses twice the amount of water that my old toilet used.....ISN'T THAT A BIG SAVINGS OF WATER, SAWS??!
Yes, my next place will have the AS Champion...
It makes me sick to think how much S is sitting just out of site in the toilet-that it isn't even in the pipes yet! Real progressive, eh?

I highly recommend the Toto brand toilets. I just purchased my first "water saver" and I am amazed at how well it works. It is like an airplane toilet the way is removes the waste from the bowl. Almost scary. Check them out.

Deco Pizzeria has a Caroma. Kind of dim in their bathroom and it was cold so did not stick around to check the results of the water saver function.

SAWS (and, no, I don't work for or with them) has been recognized nationally for their conservation efforts. The numbers speak for themselves - we use less water in SA per capita than every other mid to large city (including Austin) in Texas: Daily Water Consumption by Selected Texas Cities - December 2007 Fiscal Notes

Can we as a city do better? Of course! Are the Caroma toilets perfect? Of course not. But to place all this blame on SAWS seems a little excessive.

I agree with Nodpete about the Toto brand... They are excellent.

Having said that, we received two of the Caromas from SAWS about 8 months ago and have had zero problems, functional or otherwise.

My caroma sees to just run constantly. And the light flush button never flushes everything, I have to hold it down. There goes the water saver function.

If the light flush button isn't flushing it, I bet there's an adjustment you can make to fix that...
