what is up with Logan's? is the sign still there? I haven't noticed it, but that's usually because I'm trying to avoid the a$$tards that cannot handle the road outside AR.

lol I've never been to Dick's Last Resort, I didn't know you could throw items at the staff. I know they are supposed to be rude though.

The sign for Logans is still up....we saw it today.
Love Dicks Last Resort. They are rude in a joking way, don't expect courteous attitudes. If you don't have a sense of humor it's not the place for you.
Mmmm. frozen thin mints. nothing better !!!
We went to Bricks Restaurant in Bandera today. Best lunch I've had in a long time!

I space them out so much during the year that I just finished off my last box of frozen thin mints.
Crushed in a baggie, they are good on ice cream!

I don't think there are very many rules at Dick's as long as you don't go overboard. My nephew was being chased by most of the wait staff last time we were there and they were all throwing towels and napkins at each other. I think it would be a pretty fun place to work.

News flash!!! DH and I went to Red Robin at the Rim today for lunch. The manager stopped by and I asked him if he knew anything about the RR still being built in AR.....YEP....he said it's supposed to be open sometime in May!!! I asked if he was certain cause not one ounce of dirt has been moved yet - he said he knew that but they are definitely building it and that once the break ground it will go up in a jiffy!

sweet
now what about Ruby Tuesday? and I saw the Logans sign today. It's still sitting there, along with a couple tumblweeds probably..
I would also like to give some quick props to the customer service section of the AR BB store. I ordered a gift card online and they never activated it for some reason. The customer service people tried everything to help me, but it ended up that I had no choice but to cancel it and wait 5-10 days for them to ship me another one. They really tried everything, though, and were always very nice. They also held on to what I was going to buy for a few hours while I went home and got another gift card. I got four of those buy the 50 DVD-R's and get a 72 disc Case Logic case book thing. The ad says 64, but it's actually a 72. I should be set for about 6 months

Wow--I hope my gift card from there works. I got a $25 one when I bought an XBox360 online at Christmas. The rest of the transaction was a complete and total fiasco, though, so I am not holding my breath.

they said this rarely happens, like they've never heard of it happening, but I had to point out that it happened at least once and I wasn't happy about it. The bb online people were awful with their customer service. I spent over an hour calling them and ended up speaking with at least 8 people in four different locations and all to find out that there is absolutely nothing they can do except kill it and issue me a new one in 5-10 days. You would think an activate button would be a pretty easy software upgrade...
