I'm working on creating a website Moderator cut: link - see comment for the Alamo Ranch folks.
Right now it's just a forum, but I would like to add some content to the front page eventually, but I'll need some ideas and input. I do not, repeat, do not want to take traffic or people away from City-data, but would like it to compliment their site with more specifics to the AR community.
If anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Thanks for running with the ball, nrlatsha! I've been griping about the fact that there's no real AR-specific site out there. The HOA(s) don't have anything relevant, at least.

I wrote an email to Joe, the president of the HOA around July. Got an email in Sept stating that:
"I’m currently in preliminary talks with ICI Services for the purpose of designing and maintaining a website for Alamo Ranch C.A. This will be a tremendous benefit to residents and the association, improving the ability of information sharing. As soon as something is finalized I’ll mail out a notice to residents announcing the website."
I'm still waiting on that site, and there is a blog available for our block, but nothing that allows freedom to reply, etc.
So i decided to do this.

I'm not allowed to post it, but if anyone remembers the link, that should be within the TOS for this site. I was able to find some new info concerning the ARM and I put it on there this morning.

The IHOP is open. We went past it this morning and it said "now open" in the front.

Yep - saw it yesterday. This ought to make going to Jim's manageable now. I'm glad both are there just for that reason.

It says the marketplace leasing is 82% complete!
I don't remember where I found the PDF file, but I can't post it here, it's against the TOS for this site. I'll keep looking, but there are no specifics, just "fast food" and "restaurant" listed. It's listed on the Alamo Ranch Neighbors site, but I can't post a link to my site since it's against the TOS for this site.
There's the addition of (I can't post the store names as it's against the TOS for this site, so I replaced them with generics):
A "restaurant between cellphone # 1 and bedding
An Stock Trading business between Cellphone #2 and coffee house
A "fast food" and a "sub shop" in the building next to coffee house
A "fast food" in the main entrance, right side building #2
Two "restaurants" on each side of fast food specializing in chicken
An "education service" near nails and massage places
A "gift shop" next to clothing store
Basically more stores...
