From what I've heard, the overpasses are indeed in the plan, but not for several more years. And that's a Red Robin supposedly going in... but six of one, half dozen of the other. Both high-end burger joints.

But at least construction has actually started on the steak place next to Olive Garden. Definitely looking forward to that!!

There's also a sign for Ruby Tuesday. I don't know who you were directing that at.....

And I'm glad Logan's is going up fast, too--finally! I wish it was a Texas Roadhouse, but they're pretty similar anyway. It would be nice if we had a seafood place go in there, but I'll put down the crack pipe now.

Good Morning Mpittman44 -It would sure be nice if all those overpasses were built. I think they were in the plans during the widening of 1604 but it came down to not enough money. That's always their excuse. As you know its all freeway /highway from Braun North. We really need one at 151 and 1604. There are too many accidents there as well as Potranco and 1604. 151 is much worse. I know of at least one death at that intersection. I have read / heard from TXDOT that 151 is supposed to continue W towards Alamo Ranch to Talley and hopefully to 211 (if it is ever extended from Potranco to Culebra / FM 471). There is a fairly new light at Wiseman and 1604 and there is one that will be operating soon just S of Marbach (where there is already a light) I travel 1604 to 90E then into downtown, actually a little N on 281. Traffic is great for me now but as soon as school starts it will be a mess.

* Maybe the lights are up so we stop to collect tolls.

I think the stupid reason for the light is the crossover they are building into that subdivision on 1604 that now requires those living there to come to Potranco and do the turn around.

While I don't relish the thought of another traffic light on 1604, I am grateful for the help it should give us at Potranco by allowing those living in that subdivision to turn in earlier, and I am also grateful for the accidents that will hopefully be avoided by having a light there vs the ******* approach to getting across 1604. At the speeds we drive on 1604, that intersection really NEEDS to have a light there. (hey they bleeped me out on the word "*******"???? I was talking about the old atari game where the frog kept getting run over trying to cross the road....geesh!!!)

******* is blocked? I'll be damned, it is! and yet damned isn't..
and I'm talking about the light going up only a couple hundred feet north of Marbach. People should be more careful of the neighborhood they move into instead of making the rest of us suffer with yet another stinking light..

Yeah. I saw that yesterday. Another signal on Loop 1604 for what? There's no street on the other side of 1604. What's next, signals for Wolf Creek and Dove Canyon??? If I'm not mistaken, that makes 9 signals between the end of the Bandera section to Highway 90 (11 if you want to count the two Hwy 90 signals).

Default Cottonwood way

On another note, has anyone used Wiseman to cottonwood way to get into Alamo Ranch in the evenings? It has made my evening commute less painful.
