Let me guess, Costco, Best buy, Target etc.......all the same stuff. I really wish we had the economy like Houston's. They have some great shopping center's with nice little original shops. I think culebra's shopping center was on point years ago with eddie bauer and bombay furniture. I guess another rack room shoes or panda express is what we have to look forward to....hmmmmm, maybe a good bar?!?!?!?!?

I must say, the stores that are moving into the AR Shopping Center are "on-point" with the needs of the community. I would wager to say that most of us would shop at a Target over Eddie Bauer (for most of our needs, at least). I don't argue that the shopping center could a) look a bit nicer, and b) have some stores that aren't already everywhere else. However, I think we should wait to see what stores fill in the rest of the shopping center before passing final judgment.

I for one can say it's nice finally having some stores we use over in this area. We just ran over to the Auto Zone and it was nice not having to drive so far for one little thing. We have lived out here for 17 years and it has been great. On one hand I hate to see all the development but if it has to come, let it be something useful. I agree that they are all starting to look the same, but it's not as far for me to drive so I am ok with most of it. I wish we could get a "clean" Ross. That would be nice.

Not sure if you guys saw!

The project, which encompasses 38 acres of land at the southeast corner of 1604 and Culebra Road, currently includes H-E-B, Hobby Lobby, Chase, Chili's and Whataburger. The latest expansion will bring to the center Party City, an IHOP and a 5,000-sf space at the H-E-B end of the center. Construction on the new spaces at Culebra Market will be complete in July 2008. Party City will open in time for the 2008 Halloween season.

Yes. Olive Garden in Alamor Ranch Retail Center. The building is already up. Also a Starbucks with a drive thru. My wife is so happy.

I went to the new Best Buy at AR last Friday after work. There were maybe 10 people in the store. AR itself isn't bad and very open. At least you don't have to "zip" across a busy street in the middle like Bandera Point.
