Did you guys see the article in Sunday's paper about Alamo Ranch Marketplace? It did say that Lowe's was coming in, but nothing about Cosco . Red Robin, yes. (and of course, now I'm too tired to try to find it in on the website. ugh, old age sux!)

If you guys are near Culebra and 1604 (?? and chances are you are NOWHERE near it??) why aren't you going to the Best Buy at the Rim at La Cantera? Straight shot up 1604 to 10 and it's right there... never crowded, though I'm sure it's going to be quite crowded nowadays.....

I don't like that Best Buy. The new "improved" store layout is not my style. I like the old-school Best Buy like the one at Ingram. (although the last couple of times we've been, there has been a horrible mildew smell in there) But when the new one comes to Culebra/1604, I will adjust.
We actually were out there on Black Friday (the Rim) and it really wasn't too crowded--but it was during the Texas football game, so I imagine everyone was at home at that time. We had dinner at Mimi's and we had the place basically to ourselves.

Well then, Howdy Moderator cut: blog!
I have to agree that the Chili's at Culebra is not top of the line, but it is convenient for a salad in a hurry. If you want bad, try that Taco Cabana there at 1604/Culebra... That place is terrible.

No thanks, we never eat at Ocat Cabana. Ever. Las Palapas does a fine job if we want fast food tacos, and they even bring chips and salsa to the table.

Thanks for the pics Russ...I LOVE that 2 walled building in the Left corner of that last pic...we have wondered what that is all about! Like it was not goofy enough, and now they have gone and added that two tone awning...must be a "look and select which storefront" type of sample for the folks building there, don't you think??? LOL

Maybe that 1/4 building is supposed to be the design or style and they want people to see it. I've noticed that sort of thing at the hospital going up on 151...they have sort of this half-front of a wall. Drove by there today and the main part of the clinic looks exactly like that little wall design.
